Zinc ??

I heard that for games like final fight revenge and the street fighter 3d/ tekken type games that mame cant emulate them but there is a program called zinc what is zinc and can it run these games and if so will it work with mamewah

Mame can but Zinc does it better
and Yes I think MameWah can launch it.

Final Fight Revenge isn't emulated, at all... period.

Oh thanks didnt realise it wasnt as i saw it on the mame list. So whats best to stick with mame or put zinc on and my mate was also mentioning that capcom vs snk is also emulated but its not on mame either would that be zinc again for this game?

Get a mate that knows what he is talking about is your first step.


Capcom vs Snk ins't emulated because it's a naomi game.  The closest you can get is to run it on chankast (a dreamcast emu).    Zinc only emulates games based on psx arcade hardware, which are generally 3d, and generally capcom or namco titles.  (Think SF Ex and tekken).

Always jump to easyemu for questions like that.  www.mameworld.net/easyemu and see if they have a section on the emulator in question (yes, they have a zinc guide).  But they are GREAT!

And I still use Zinc for a ton of games.  Have to until I can upgrade my arcade PC to a 3.4ghz machine

AtomicFE with the Arcade plug and play module automically configures Zinc and runs it when Zinc does a "better" job than Mame.
