Monitor frame bracket question

I have a 21" PC monitor that I need to build a frame for, it has in each corner a metal bracket and hole attached to the frame that sits around the tube.
My question is this, are these brackets generally strong enough to use to attach it to my frame?
The Monitor will supported underneath as well, I intend to use these holes to keep the monitor from moving backwards and forwards rather than actually taking the whole weight of it being suspended.

On a typical arcade style monitor those corner tabs are used to mount the entire weight of the monitor tube. So you should be safe there.
Just be sure to support the actual electronic chassis on a small shelf of some sort.
