Super Nintendo Game Genie codes
« on: September 12, 2006, 11:28:57 am »
Anyone have a fairly complete list of Game Genie codes for the SNES?  I'd rather not have to piece-meal this together as I haven't been able to find a large list online.  If it's something that you've gone to the trouble to compile, maybe we can work out a trade for something...

Thanks,

Steve

I found quite a few on gamegenie.com at this link

I have my old code book at my parents house too but that seems like most of them.

There's a pretty long list here too.  Not sure if there's anything more than the last page listed but I guess if you don't find something on one site go to the other...

by the way, it only took a minute to find this with a google search ;)
If there's bees in the trap I'm catching em
By the thorax and abdomen
And sanding the stingers down to a rough quill
Then I dip em in ink, and I scribble a bit
But if it they wriggle then I tickle em until they hold still
Lemme say it again
In my land of pretend
I use bees as a mf'n pen

I know, I know...   ;)

I was actually hoping someone had a printable list in .doc or .pdf or the like.  This is why I was offering something for trade.

I have visited the sites you guys have linked.  I'll go ahead and bite the bullet and copy & paste away.  I can have someone host the file for me when it's finished in case anyone else is interested.

Thanks guys,

Steve

I wrote a script to grab all the codes off nintendocc using wget and perl.  They are in the text file attachment.  Let me know if you'd like them in another format.  Note: Open the text file in an editor other than notepad.  For example, Wordpad works.

The gshi probably has some that're a bit more rare, if you're interested.  It's not in any nice layout, but if you're looking for a particular game, they might have some that'll add an interesting twist to a game.
