Anybody out there know which Sega Gensis games took advantage of the 6 button controller?   The Street Fighter games did.  What else?

Mortal Kombat pops in my head, I remember playing with my 3 button controller having to hit start to switch between kicks and punches lol.

Pretty much any fighter used it.

Eternal Champions. I have it somewhere, think the game might have come with that controller.

Little more thought and looking at my limited Genesis game collection reminded me of
Spiderman/Venom: Maximum Carnage and Zombies ate my Neighbors if I remember correctly

Bare Knuckle 3 used 6 buttons?  You sure they weren't just shortcuts for specials?

BK2 certainly didn't.  It was released way before the 6 button controller ever appeared.

I haven't played the game, but Mobygames.com has a image of the box.  It says that the 6 button controller is nessecary.

That cover art isn't as impressive as I envisioned it.  :laugh2:

Hrm you're right.  I never noticed that.  I'll have to dust off my MegaDrive and test it out.
