Happ Mouse buttons
« on: July 16, 2006, 12:59:41 am »
I just upgraded to 106u9 from 97.  My trackball now shows as Mouse 6 and works fine, except for the buttons.  Buttons 1 and 3 map fine, but button 2 registers as Button 1 and Button 2.  This is driving me crazy, since I haven't read anyposts with this problem, it must be my system.

Does anyone have any idea what I should do?  I am running XP, and no I am not pausing when I map the controls.

Also, barring a solution, does anyone know where I can get an earlier Mame that does not seem to have this problem?  Believe it or not, I overwrote, so I lost my last version.  And as a side note, the last version worked with the mouse buttons.

You can get all the old versions at http://www.mame.net/oldmame.html

Note from site " Oh, and if you didn't notice yet, this page is rarely updated, so if you REALLY need a new older version which is not yet linked from this page, try http://www.mame.net/zips/mame???b.zip or mame???s.zip, replacing ? with the version number. "
