It's more than enough. Stick with xp unless you can find 98 drivers for you're stuff which shouldn't be to hard. They should all run full speed or close to it with little to no frameskip. You're are just using the wrong emulator.

SUPER PANG = RAINE  PANG3 = WINKAWAKS OR RAINE
METAL SLUG = WINKAWAKS
STREET FIGHTER = WINKAWAKS
AERO FIGHTERS 2, PREISLE 2, SPIN MASTER = DID I MENTION WINKAWAKS?

And if you're looking to compile something start with NMAME XII http://www.zophar.net/mame.html this is the only special version of mame which I found could run neogeo games at full speed or close to it with that type of hardware. The reason you would need to compile it is because it only goes up to metal slug X.

Thanks for this suggestion...
One thing I want to tell you that [Raine,Winkawaks,Nebula]all of them used Decrypted Roms for neogeo games....
Decrypted Drivers almost Half of the Original Rom size....You Can't afford Kof2000 Rom to Play with Mame on a slower Computer...But the Same Game On different emulator Runs fine on it...This is just becoz Mame uses the Original Board Setup for Neogeo Emulation and Other Emulator uses the Decrypted short size Rom,which Loads and Runs a bit faster....

I already Added winKawaks Rom Collection in Mame...Mame by default does not support Decrypted Neogeo Drivers any More....
So it is easy for Me to Compile any specific Version of Mame which Included all Neogeo Drivers...
I have Three self Builts...[mameV0.73 , mameV0.84 , mameV0.95]

One Problem Still Come in my mind is choose the appropriate Operating System...

Some People says that WindowXp with [BlackViper]Power Tweaks will runs more Smooth while the Others are telling about Windows98...

Please tell me that Does a Super Tweak WindowsXp runs uses Limited Cpu and Ram resources as Compared with Win98...?

It's more than enough. I stand by my statement.

First Raine isn't a neogeo emulator.
Secont Nebula won't run games full speed with that setup. Winkawaks is the only way to go. It'll run those games at full speed. You can compile all you wan't but winkawaks will still run faster. Believe me i've tried running them on a 400mhz celeron, went back as far as .55 and .37 if i'm not mistaken? No dice.

As for the OS part. I would go with 98. It uses less resources. And with hardware that old and it's easy to find drivers. But it crashes alot. If you wan't to go with xp like I did I would use Nlite http://www.nliteos.com/ to strip all the unnecessary stuff. The reason I went with xp and not 98 is because I couldn't get joytokey or joytomouse working within mamewah or was it gamelauncher?

Yeah I know the Power of Nlite Utility to CutOff WindowsXP source files...
I triead it 1 year ago...I almost Do the best things to Reduce Xp and when I Burn the ISO then XP setup gave a lot of *.sys files Not found Errors....

Do you have your Project file which you used....If you have then please share it...I will be very thankfull to you... :)

You need a wrapper for winkawaks. I've attached both the wrapper and my Last Session for Nlite. This is what your ini file should look like in mamewah. You have to install it in the same folder as winkawaks. Now right click on Kawaks.bat and click on edit. Change it to reflect your path. The only problem is you still need to press enter before you exit. It works for me since i'm using a usb pad along with joytokey where you can assing multiple key presses to one button. With nlite you have to install TweakUi to for autologon when setting up xp as a shell. Make sure you rename Winkawaks Wrapper.JPG to Winkawaks Wrappers.zip since that was the only way to upload it. And Last Session.txt to Last Session.ini
