Suggestions on tutorials/videos for learning carpentry/woodworking?

Rather than get like a million different hits by doing a google search on this subject, I wanna know if anyone can reccomend some good videos, totorials, websites, etc on learning carpentry and woodworking.

I am completing my MAME cabinet (converted from an existing arcade game - the cab didn't come with a PCB or even a monitor, just the cab, JAMMA harness, and sticks/buttons), and my skills can seriously use some refining.

I wanna do a 2nd cab (another conversion) or maybe try my hand at building a showcase style cab, but I'd really like some more insight.

I found the woodworking shows on Discovery Channel and PBS to be very helpfull.  You will start to get a feel for the steps involved.  Plan all you moves out in advance and go slow.  It will start to make sence after some practice.  When I first started my cab I botched the first pieces of wood with bad cuts.  Seemed I was not consistent with drawing a line and where the saw met the line.  Just takes practice.

Check your local Technical Highschools.  Several ones near me offer 6-9 week AdultEd courses twice a year for around $150.  That works out to $5 an hour!

You get access to professional quality machines, access to a woodworking professional (the teacher).  Some classes teach specifics and some offer open shop.

I've been waiting on the fall schedule for our local Voc HS so I can take a carpentry class... want to finish my basement myself but don't want to half ass it.

My local library has several videos that go in-depth on how to use a certain tool. Table Saw, Router, Band Saw, etc. Bonus points for being free!
