Gevin Cabinet Info needed (monitor..)
« on: March 12, 2003, 04:39:55 am »
Hi,
I've got a spanking pretty Gevin 30" Arcade Machine (aptly named a 'Globetrotter 30"') featuring a Jamma Harness, Two Player four button setup and a 4-Slot Neo Geo..

It works like a charm, but I have no manuals, and no idea what kind of monitor assembly Gevin was using (are they out of business).. I know that they were official SNK distributors in Italy (Napoli)..

I need to know about the monitor specs as I've added a Mame PC into the cabinet - try getting decent results in advancemame on the generic settings :-(

Anyhow I hope somebody have some good info on this....

Oh - the Pc is wired in with a JPac, and run win98se DOS, on Eltiegroup K7S5A, geforce 4 mx, ac97 sound and athlon XP1800+ and 655mb ram, 80gb hdd...

I cant get ArcadeOS (displays a very nice & stable picture by default) & dmame to recognice the AC97 soundcard.. So I'm stuck with AdvanceMenu & AdvanceMame .. But many of the default resolutions are "jumpy" to say the least...

Arrgh.
