Can someone vectorize this logo?
« on: September 04, 2006, 10:12:11 am »
I would really appreciate it if someone with vectorizing abilities could vectorize this logo for me.  It's from a MotorDome pinball machine.  I isolated the logo itself from a picture of the back glass, and roughly drew in the missing pieces (like the bottom right leg of the "R").  No gradient is needed, as you could use a red-ish orange for the main part of the lettering and it would be good enough.  I plan to submit this to the Arcade Art Library, with your permission of course.

Thanks in advance!

You might want to try this one yourself, since it would be a very easy project and a good learning project as well. :)

The cost of the software to vector it can be a bit cost prohibitive for some. ;)

Good free program.

Yes, Illustrator is expensive, but there are some decent opensource/free programs out there to at least get used to vector graphics.  I think Adobe offers a 21 day trial of illustrator as well if you have to use that one.

Crax,

I tried the Illustrator demo, but I like the idea of something cheaper (read free).  I think I'll give your link a whirl.
Thanks. :)
