This is an OK Baby thread

Made by a company called Americana in Westlake Village  near Los Angeles in 1982. One was broken and I turned it to jamma for a tile matching game for my girl. The other is all original with the Billiards game in it that it came with.

I sold one to a friend, but I really regret it. He's a really cool guy though and I glad he has it. He will appreciate it more than I do...although I love them

They were made by a company in Westlake Village called "Americana". The steel work for the coin box was done in Canada.  They are made by the same company that put out the Mini Mint bartops like pictured below.  Those are actually my friend Daryll's. I have one of the mini mint's too, and there's the bartop I sold him.  Both items made in Westlake Village in 1982. The company also made some sort of stand up cab that was in the movie "Joysticks"..so I have heard. Never seen the movie, but that's one of the only references.

that OK Baby is actually a good cab. I like it. I am running my XBOX through it right now.

I was just kidding you. Since I never saw those in the arcades I went to, they don't hold any sentimental value for me.  I can understand the appeal of that type of cab, though... Very space efficient with a large display.

...that right there is big for me. Don't get me wrong, I love my woody a lot, as I cleaned it up from crap into something really nicely...but the lower cabs make the room feel bigger. More open. If I ever get a house I will turn the garage into a game room and woodies will feel less "GIANT" in the room.
