One more Emutron question (I promise)

PacFan,

Last question, then I'll stop botherig you.  Whenevr I launch a game from ET and then exit out of the game (back to ET, it leaves a "Finished" Dos window on my desktop.  I can't see it because it's hidden under ET.  Anyway, if I launch a whole bunch of games in a row, without closing those dos boxes, ET eventually crashes.  Is there any way to get these dos windows to "autoclose"

PS- my cludge technique to hide windows actually works if anyone is interested, read the 3rd page of the other ET thread.

Yeah, I ran into this too, The way to make sure all those dos boxes don't pop up is to right click on et.bat file in the emutron directory, create a shortcut to it. Then you can right click on the et.bat file again and set the dos properties to "close on exit", There are a few other properties too, like "Full Screen" if you don't want to see the windows desktop.

I don't mind the questions at all, I'm about to release a new version in the next few days, with a ton of new features for better control over the UI (better animation functions ), (OnClick rectangle activation for events), showmouse, hidemouse, maybe another way to launch games besides dos batch files.
Also included are improved / new features in the etconfig program, including ways to point and click configure all the info in the etoptions.cfg.

I'm sure everyone will have a few questions on how to use the new features. I'll start another topic after I post the next release.

BTW, It "PacManFan" not PacFan, I think someone else uses that name on the board.
