ePSXe and guncon2
« on: June 06, 2006, 09:48:16 pm »
I am building a shooter cabinet with a ps2 and a xbox in it. Everything has been going fine except I had to buy some cheesy light guns for the ps2 so that I could play light gun, guncon, and guncon2 games with the same gun. The gun works poorly, every 3 shots it will shot about a 1/4 of an inch away from the rest of the shots. I recently discovered ePSXe and found that my psx games I want to run mostly look better running on my pc then they do on the ps2. So I was thinking I could use a standard namco guncon2 via usb with the drivers into a pc. I would put a video card into the pc so that I could use it on a TV, of course. My question at this point is this possible? Does it really matter is ePSXe supports this as the guncon2 driver would make ePSXe think it's a joypad?
