i dont think its modded and i already have one but i know someone whos selling theirs for 40 dollars.  how much store credit do i get for trading it in?

Are you refering to a specific store for trade in value?  I'd bet EBworld will give you $45-$55 but I don't know for sure since I haven't brought one in there...

As for "street value", You can get $60-$80 I'd say.  Matter of fact I bet I know someone who'll give you $70...  PM me if you want to sell it for arround that price.

eb will give 80 if its traded in towards a 360 but im waiting on that.  70 seems to be good but the thing is im not sure if i want to resell since i have ideas for it.

If you trade it in next week EBGames/GameStop will give you $70 for it in store credit.  Or like you said if you trade it towards a 360 they will give you $80.  It normally only trades in for around $50.  Personally I wouldn't ever get rid of an extra Xbox because there are lots of cool things it could be used for.  You can put Mame on it and use it in an arcade cabinet, or you can install XBox Media Center and use it as a Home Theater PC.
