RGB Volcano Clear Lens Casting

I tried casting the plastic cones and the molds tore because of the threads.
I could try again now that I have the high strength silicone, but I don't think it would be all that great. I am partial to the aluminum cones anyway. I think someone with access to a machine shop needs to reproduce the aluminum cones.

I just don't have the time because of my work to handle sales. Plus I wouldn't want to sell something that is not perfect.

Why not cast the cones without the thread and then thread them with a tap once they are cured?
