If I had an austrailian accent or certain english accents, saying lager may sound more like "laga"

I think the question here is "where do you place the inflection or accent?"

I was alway GAL-aga.  Flows better to me.

yes, i did say that in my FIRST post  ;) . doesnt actually matter about accent in this case. have you heard of the band OASIS? who are the two brothers in that? doesnt matter if you use an american, english, kiwi or aussie accent. noeal and liam GALLAGHER (like that flyer of vigos) is more or less how i thought gallaga was pronounced...
