I always thought it would be a great student film maker project to spoof a reality show like "Wife Swap" by creating a fake family with actor parents and teen kids and renting a normal house in suburbia.  Then getting on the show and acting weirder then the normal freaks on the show.   You could have your own hidden cameras on the actors filming the reactions on the producer and crews faces as you announce that every Monday the family has a vomit eating contest or Wednesday is family shower and sleep in the same bed night.
