Cabinet Concept
« on: April 17, 2006, 05:10:07 pm »
Here's the Concept render for my Cabinet, Comments welcome. I still feel's it's missing some thing, I want the Concept perfect before I break out the airbrush.  I decided not to go with the decal side art, maybe because I'm thick and deserve the hours of pain by hand painting..... Nah... I just know I'll be more proud of it when it's finished. Cab has been built, Now all I need to finish it is, paint, repaint, and repaint some more, then Clear coat, clear coat....

You get the Picture.
It's on my Deviant art site,

Comments welcome.

can we see some pics of the cab pre-painted?  'specially the two-tier control panel.

Sure. I'll have to grab a camera, but no problem. I've been meaning to document the build, the Control panel is much thicker then I had origially planned, in the render,  At the time I made the concept, I had almost nothing on paper, and forgot to compensate for clearance underneath the teir for the trackball. I'm considering buying a prefab, 4 person control panel in light of this development. I still need to drill the holes in the CP and have just been putting it off.
