I have a Dell P1110 21" flat screen VGA monitor (uses a Sony tube I believe) and it has a yellowish picture to it and has yellow lines. Is this fixable? I have included pics of the monitor's picture. Just a blank screen. Should obviously be black.

That no signal information box is exactly the same as the one on my Formac ProNitron 21/800 monitor.

Those yellow lines are commonly called jail bars.

It looks like the screen knob needs adjusting but I'm not sure PC monitors have that setting...

If this were an arcade monitor I would have guessed the SCREEN voltage (flyback)......
But I have no idea what all is adjustable on yours. (on-screen or otherwise)
So this kinda fits into where your problem might be.

Read about it and see if it helps any:
