Strange problems with ArcadeOS...
« on: February 23, 2003, 12:39:27 am »
Well, I'm running ArcadeOS in DOS 7 on a K6-3 450MHz PC with 128Mb RAM, and here's the problem I'm having:

When I try and start a game from ArcadeOS, it starts to load, then reboots the PC.  If I run ArcadeOS from within Windows, it runs fine.  I was running ArcadeOS on my P133 with 32Mb RAM in DOS 7 without any problems.  But all of a sudden...  anyone have any idea?  Basically, ArcadeOS won't run AT ALL in DOS 7.

While I'm asking, anyone know of any other DOS front-ends?

Oh, and when in Windows running ArcadeOS, I can't ESC out of Street Fighter.  It acts as if it isn't registering at all.  Works fine in all of the other games I've tested.  Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks,
Odonadon

Well, to update my issue, I've given up on ArcadeOS and am now using GameLauncher for DOS.  Seems to work quite well.  Nice little FE.

Thanks,
