TV for pc games too?
« on: March 21, 2006, 02:54:19 pm »
My cabinet does everything I want, I use it for parties and such, A big jukebox, arcade and PC game. Right now I am using a 20 inch monitor. My wife says that I can have the 27 inch out of the bedroom. Question is, I game often, WOW, Call of duty 2, Far cry, and F.E.A.R are some of the games I pull up my desk chair to my keyboard drawer. Of course the monitor is great for these. I know that TVs kind of suck for windows text. Does anyone PC game from a TV? I like my 20 inch monitor but 27, Now that would be nice. I know I would lose quality but is it that terrible?

imho I did not like whe way COD2 looked on my 32'' tv (using s-vid)

but my neighbor who has a 42'' edtv plasma with a pc input in the back thats WOW
unless it has a pc input on the back of the tv it not going to look as nice

hope that helps

Yeah, that's what I was wondering so that sucks.  Damn Lusid style cab and 20 inch monitor means Big Bezel time.  :P At least for right now.

I'll second that, I use a 21" Monitor and wanted to go to a 28" TV however the picture was noticably worse, especially for text.
