how to paint a copier?

Hi Everyone!  I have an older copier that I want to paint to match my pc.  I'm going to of course take all the panels off when I paint them.  My question is how should I paint this?  I know I should probably use spray paint but should I sand first?  Should I prime it?  Is there special paint I should use?  Thanks in advance everyone!

Is the sides plastic?  If it is use Krylon Fusion.  Works awesome and comes in all sorts of colors.

geekboys right about the krylon fusion. I have used it to make monitor bezels it actualy chemicly bonds to the plastic.

Thank you both for the help.  The sides are plastic but there may be some metal.  I assume krylon fusion is just spray paint I can buy at meijer,home depot, etc?  Also should I sand it first or just paint it?  Thanks again!

Krylon Fusion is a great paint for plastic and requires very little prep work in general.  If you want a color Fusion doesn't have, or are going for a very specific/good paint job, then I'd sand and prime first.

If the copier is in decent shape, you can probably just clean it and paint.
