OK, but how far would you have gotten without any of this?
You wouldn't get anywhere.. but that's exactly my point. It's not an entry level job in that you can waltz right in and get the position. It's entry into the company, not into the world of IT.
I dare anyone to try to get a job like this in the IT field if you have NO skills like the ones I've mentioned. Why would they even consider you when there are millions of people with these types of rudimentary computer skills.
This is the one that caught my attention...also I've never seen an entry level job asking for HTML programming...I've done PC work or about 20 years, and can stumble my way around HTML, but not without any type of documentation (my already crappy looking pages, would look MUCH worse)
ENTRY LEVEL + NO OUSIDE HELP or DOCUMENTATION.....instructions are for wussies!
I'm a 3rd year student right now looking for work in the Business and IT world, and I see this all day long. Everyone wants quick learners that don't need hand holding. You should be able to find documentation yourself if needed. No outside help just means they want an independent person. In my experiences, you can still get help obviously.. you just need to be ready to jump into a project without a supervisor/superior telling you what to do.
