  • I want to build my own arcade controls!
The latest in my saga with my U2000 is this:

This monitor has a remote control board with brightness, contrast, h-hold, v-hold, etc on it.

If I adjust the brightness Pot, the brightness changes, but the height of the image also changes as well.

If I adjust the contrast, the contrast changes, but if I change it too much, the horizontal hold gets totally screwed.

Any idea what is happening?  Should I replace R101 on the deflection board?

sounds like maybe a dry joint on the remote board or its connection onto the chassis,or even poss a pot breaking down

Has this monitor had a capkit installed? If not then install one.
