I finished my cab bout a year ago but havn't posted any photos of it because I'm computer stupid and can not figure how to post an image. If there is a nice enough person out there, I could email you the photos and you could please post them for me. PM your email and I'll email them out. Thanks in advance.

Um, when you go to post a message, click that Additional Options link at the bottom of the message.  There, you'll see an area to upload a couple images at a time to the forum.

Damn, thanks Ninja! Lookin back I guess I would of rather called the cab "RoboCade" but felt I had to give the developers of MAME some credit.

And finally.. I can see the images are kinda dark, if you want brighter images I'll post them. That last image makes the marquee look all jacked up, I don't know why because i know it perfectly level. By the way I'm running a 21" computer monitor with Tstick pluses and a Happs TB.

I like your machine, is it scratch-built?

Yep, all scratch built, I used laminate instead of paint. Mamemarquees.com did the printing, great job by the way, and special thanks to Rom for letting me use his "pixel explosion" for background. The foreground I just drew freehand and a buddy digitized it for me.

sure, I used baltic birtch that has been rounded over with a router for the end caps of the control panel. I orginally planed on using rounded over baltic birch for the top part of the cabinet, but I didn't like the look. Soooo I redid it using laminate covered MDF with black Tmolding. I was going to replace the CP end caps with MDF but figured the baltic birch didn't look that bad and matched the keyboard drawer. Any opinons? Also the CP is bolted down to the cab on 2 slots. This allows the CP to be moved back about 6" away from screen for those power hits on the trackball while playing Golden Tee.

Thanks, I used Tstick pluses so I could just switch from 4way to 8way so not to have the panel too "clutered". Although a dedicated 4 way in the center would have been nice, but I'll probally do that on my next cab which will be a dedicated vertical cab. I have the coin door wired so you can push the "coin return" for credits, thus allowing me not to have credit button. Although most of my buddies just keep pressing 5 on the mini keyboard.

Sharp machine!  I'm diggin on the multiple colors used on the sides, etc.  Makes it definitely stand out in a very stylish way.   Thumbs up dude!

Here is another, by the way how do you compress an image? The brighter the photo the more the KB. On top is my one button power on. God I love the backlit blue trackball, I don't know if you can see it in the first pic but my fooseball table's playing field is glass and is also backlit by a blue light. Most of my shots are dark, probably cause the basement is painted a peachy orange color so I can keep it nice and dark while the projector is running.

couple more, edit: that last one is a mistake.
That last picture is of another project. When I was refinishing the basement I needed a place to have accces to a gas line and a main water shut off so I created a kinda "media" wall out of birch plywood that I stained colonial maple to match the walls. I built in a couple of bookshelves with glass shelves to house my home theater stuff and made use of the gas line to put in a gas ventless fireplace to warm the basement up a little. At the top is a 100" pull down screen for the projector.

Thank you, thank you... I have been posting on this forum since January of 2003 I'm glad I can finally post a pic of my cab on here. Once I figure out how to compress images I'll post some construction photos.

Wow, thanks guys! ;D Yeah, I did the work on the basement but had alot help from my buddies that are electricians. I'm running a Sony HS10, kinda old now but still has an awesome HiDef picture. The table, I'm guessing you are talking about the foosball table, isn't a Tornado, actually I don't remember who made it, I also can't remember where I got the keyboard. But when I get home tonight I'll post who makes the table and keyboard. Thanks again, Don.
