Need a bit of help with I-PAC

Hi,

I bought this from Ultimarc:


I'm trying to connect 3 standard arcade buttons and a HAT-switch that I snatched off a Logitech flightsim joystick.

There is an installation guide for Ultimarc, but I still don't know how to connect the HAT-switch (and the buttons for that matter).
I'm hoping one of you can tell me how to do it.
I'm afraid to fry the board, if I wire it wrongly. So I thought best to post here and ask, before I fry this baby.

I have soldered two wires to each of the microswitches of the HAT - 8 in total for 4 'keys/axis'.
The buttons also have two wires each.

Now, I need to know how to connect them to the I-PAC.
If you look at the pic, there are two rows of connectors.
Both rows have the same names for the connectors/switches; like 1LEFT, 1RIGHT etc. The other row has the same, but just says 2LEFT, 2RIGHT etc instead.
So do I put one of the two wires from the microswitch of the HAT in each of the rows. Like one wire into 1LEFT and the other wire into 2LEFT?
Or do I stick both them into 1LEFT?

And what if the microswitch on the HAT has 4 wires? (Some of them have 4)

Any help is greatly appreciated.

1RIGHT means Player 1 right, so you would want to wire your Up Down Left and Right all to the same player, probably 1.

So all wires from one button go into the same connector of the I-PAC?

Example: Up.

You will wire the normally open side of the switch to the 1UP terminal on the IPAC. 

Example: Down.
You will wire the normally open side of the switch to the 1DOWN terminal on the IPAC.

You will either "daisy chain" all the commons together, or bring them separately to a central location.  Then take a single wire from your common to the GND terminal.

The terminals labeled with a direction or SW should only have one wire landed on that terminal.  Assuming you are not paralleling any buttons.
