Cabinet Specific Plans
« on: February 05, 2006, 08:15:37 pm »
If I were looking for original plans and dimensions for certain cabinets, is there a website where I could get them from?  I am looking for Gunforce and Two Crude, specifically.  Thanks!

Jakobud is the man.  Not sure if he has your specific plans, but here's what he's got.

From what I can tell, both Two Crude and Gunforce were sold as kits to be installed into an existing cabinet and therefore don't really have a cabinet style of their own.

I found a downloadable manual for Gunforce. It was definitely a kit. If it would have had a dedicated cabinet, it probably would have been the standard Dynamo "cut-corner" cabinet.

Since Data East made Two Crude, probably the closest thing you could find to a dedicated cab would be the cabinets they used a few years before for Robocop and Bad Dudes. It's the one with the marquee that curves outward. I think these were the last dedicated cabinets that Data East made.

I've never seen plans for either of these style cabinets though.
Brevity is not my strong suit.

That's true enough.  I've been looking for Dynamo cut corner 19" cab plans for a while now.  I figured it shouldn't be this hard since they are so common.  I guess I'll just have to try and buy one.
