Luckily we had a good 'metal raised' group here last night, they all know their stuff.

I did heard a few of those when we hosted my wife's work party a few weeks ago..plenty of requests for old fiddy-cent. :)

Meh.  I've seen better.

And the little lights aren't twinkling by the way.

Just letting everyone know we a baby boy last night so I'll be somewhat offline for awhile.
I've had a bunch of people e-mailing me about plans, etc for this thing. I'll give you all some measurements and more details on how I connected it up when I get a chance. Thanks for all the compliments too.  :)

I too promise to sleep for you.  I'll mail you a nap or two when I've built up some slumber time ;)

Excellent job as all of your projects seem to be.  Good to know your son will have a few good musical influences while growing up.

I think that's his XM tuner.  Dunno if it can control anything else, but I'd doubt it.

One of those nice Sony $200 jobbies would look sweet though ;)

Yup it's XM if that's the gadget you're referring to.
Nothing new to the US crowd but it just became available in Canada, legally.

Inspirational Effort.

I can see now that I will be building an arcade machine as well as a dedicated jukebox.

Your example is too sweet too ignore.

I second the request for further in depth details. :applaud:

Hey Knievel

I would really appreciate if you could sketch some dimensions on the Metal Machine.
It's a nice piece of work to share with everyone.

Thanks

Just as an aside, Anthrax was a mid-80s band that lasted into the 90s (and beyond, their most recent album with new work came out last year). Ditto on Slayer, though their last album was 2001.

That aside, awesome project-I'd also love some dimensions =)

Yea, sorry guys it's been nuts here.
I did some quick measurements that night but just haven't had time to do anything further.

If someone with the skills wants to tackle drawing it I'll make with the dimensions.
