AVGA to SCART success!

Just thought I'd post as I had to stand back in amazement last night at the picture quality of an ArcadeVGA wired directly to SCART. I'm helping a mate build a cabinet out of all the trial and error parts left from my learning experience! I bought a

Yes the picture quality is superb (the same as an arcade monitor).  One drawback is that unless you know how to access the service menu, it can be difficult/impossible to set the picture size/position etc...which is usually easily done with a true arcade monitor.

That was one of my worries before powering it up. Must have been lucky with the TV It does overscan slightly but only a few mm's around the edges so it doesn't cut off any graphics like energy bars in fighters. One of the things I did notice that was in the ATI panel as the TV is recognised as a monitor the screen size adjustment is greyed out. Anyone know if there's a registry setting that could be tweaked to enable software resizing when monitor is selected or any other work around? Not that this one needs it but if I do this again with a different TV and have to adjust it'd be handy to know. Would powerstrip be able to do it? I've never used it.
