Thundercats artwork, a little help please!
« on: January 19, 2006, 02:16:05 pm »
I am looking to have some custom slipmats made up for my decks. One of our forum memebrs stared to sort the image out for me but unfortunatly he did not have time to finish it due to ther commitments (thank you for you help anyway!)

If anyone else could vectorise this image for me then I would be eternally greatful. I am going to upload the specification for the image at the end of the post, from the specifiactions you will know if its best left as a vector file or as a .gif etc, you are the experts  ;)     You may have to open the images to read all the info, im not sure how the images will post.

Im not sue whether to go for the border or solid edge? Have a look at the 1st attached post after the image, any preferences to what would look best? Im torn between the two.

This is the original picture that I would like vectorising:-

And these are the specifiations for the image from the slipmat printers:-

Have you tried autotracing it in Illustrator?

On a simple image like that autotracing might work fairly well.
