Read an article like that a while back, it mentioned MANY more items.  The one that sticks in my head is our eyes.

Worst design ever.  Even the squid does it better.  The data pathways are in front of the photosensitive area, gaining vertebrates the 'inverted eye' nomenclature.

Toss in a blind spot where the nerves and blood vessels enter the eye, and you've got a winner.

Of course, you can spin this either way - so it is really meaningless, but it was a neat concept.

Yeah, our eyes are fairly poor in design compared to several others in the animal kingdom. Outside of that, my favorite quote from the article was this:
