Daaaaaaaamn, this is good! French Apple Cobbler Recipe

http://southernfood.about.com/od/apples/r/bl80301c.htm

Was looking for something for dessert tonight, had an idea.

Couldn't find the recipe I was looking for, thought I'd give this a try.

WOW.  Crispy on the outside, soft inside, and the apples make it just right.

Wait....you mean as in "I've never heard of about.com before"?

Seriously?

I refuse to believe that.

I think about.com's 'presence' or 'importance' kind of came and left, and if shmokes only got onto the net in the last few years, it seems possible that he has never heard of about.com.

But otherwise, I'm with DK all the way on this one.  How could you have never heard of about.com?  It's been around almost since I can remember.   At least since the late 90s if not earlier.

I figured he's not that much younger than me, and all the whippersnappers seem to be a leg and three fourths up on me with all this newfangled technology stuff, and I think to myself, "Self, if YOU'VE heard of about.com, surely someone as learned as shmokes is smarter than you!"

Plus his job has bunches to do with PC's, so I figured he'd at least stumble across a link while searching for porn research material  ;)

I remember when I first got a computer, I was pissed at so many about.com links that gave me just enough information to get myself in trouble, but no solutions when I really effed things up ;D

Actually I'm a computer geek who's been on the internet since 96.  I have no idea how I missed about.com.  I've even been singing the virtues of howstuffworks.com for years.

c'est la vie.

I had to quote this to save it for posterity.  I think there should be a recount re: your brilliance ;)

There MUST be some kind of sexual innuendo there...
