What monitor or converter will work for this
« on: November 23, 2005, 10:35:23 pm »
I have built a nice mame cab with a 19" vga monitor. I recently purchased the brains of a Virtua Fighter  2 off ebay for a extremely cheap price. I know that the VF2 video output is EGA 25khz. I want to to be able to have one monitor that will display the pc and the vf2. Is there a monitor that will handle both the h frequencies? Or maybe an adapter of some sort. I really did not want to buy another monitor since the 19" I have is only 3 mo old. but if thats my only choice what should I get? Thanks for any suggestions.

please post the make / model of your monitor, without knowing which monitor you have it is pretty near impossible to help

Sorry. ... Its a AOC 9KLR.

Here are the specs

H Freq 30 - 95 Khz
V Freq 50 - 160 Khz
Max Res 1600x1200

Seperate Sync H/V TTL

Input Video Signal is Analog 0.7 VPP 75 Ohm Positive.

These specs are direct from the monitors manual.

Thanks for the help.
