help with ArcadeVGA and a WG7100
« on: November 17, 2005, 02:55:23 pm »
I have been running an AVGA (9200 model) with a WG 7000  (25k7191)monitor for about a year now (I am also using the video amplifier for the convenience of hook-up with a light-gun). The color, however, is more than slightly off. For example, where I should get a bright grey or silver (like the background in the character selection screen for MK3), I get a rather dull color between yellow and brown. I always figured it was just the monitor, but I recently replaced the monitor with one I know to be good and I have the same problem. When I use the TV out, the color is fine.
Like a couple people on the thread about a month ago, no monitor is detected in the display control panel. Is this the problem? I would think that the video amplifier would not be the cause of dull color (I would think it would jave the opposite effect), but I am out of ideas as to how to fix this problem. Any suggestions?
I have posted this on the Ultimarc forum, but I thought I would post it here as well.
Thanks
