I'm a little worried that there is no Tim Schaffer attached to the project this time around, but I sure as hell hope they pull it off well.  If they can't do it right I would truly wish that they leave my Sam and Max memories unsullied.  In other Tim Schaffer news, I finished Psychonauts.  What a great game.
