Mamewah Custom List Video Help
« on: November 08, 2005, 08:51:56 pm »
I''ve been trying to figure out to create custom lists based on genre in MAMEWah and I came across this video called "Creating Custom Lists" (http://www.screenshotarchive.com/mwtutorial.htm). This was very helpful but I was also confused about a few things. In the video when a list is selected there are many lists called filtered 1,2,3 and so on. But when I go to do it there is only one list called filtered. So I am able to make one custom list but when I create the second one it replaces the first. Also in the video the custom lists are then renamed, but I have no idea how. I know I am missing something.

lol apparently im the only idiot who didnt know that custom lists had ini files in the ini folders. So if anyone is as dumb as me, just copy and paste the file mame- 1 and rename mame-1,2,3,4,5,6 etc then use the catver and filtered list to select category, open the ini and rename, cant believe i didnt see this.
