TV Problem
« on: November 02, 2005, 10:10:00 am »
Hey Guys,

a tv i got laying around is messing up lately.

When turned on, the tv works fine for the first minute....

then the screen gets pushed from the top and the bottom to the middle taking up hlaf of the screen with a smudged image. after  minutes it goes back to normal and the tv will work perfectly until turned off.

What kind of problem am i looking at?

Its a Mitsubushi 13 incher.

Thank You.

Could be a capacitor problem. Suggest posting your problem on the newsgroup sci.electronics.repair since that's where many tv shop techs hang out.
