You want an original idea.........something no one else has...........I got it........your new project........you ready for it.........here it comes.......ComicBook Viewing Cabinet.
Now before you dismiss me as crazy think about it for a minute. I think a bartop cabinet would be great. You could fill it with 1000s of comics (or if you are just a X-Men fan, for example, you could put every X-Men comic ever in one box with some kick ass X-men graphics on the side)
If using CDisplay as a comic viewer, the control panel would need a page forward and a page back button, some scroll up and down buttons and one button to exit the book. I am not sure about the frontend program yet, there are several comic collection organization softwares but I don't know if any interface with CDisplay. I never use them because in the ones I checked you have to input all the info manually for each issue and I have over 18,000 comics on a 250GB drive, that's too much work. I think a better idea might be to use a program like WindowBlinds or DesktopX to disguise the the look of Windows and just explore to the books you want to read with a tricked-out explorer window, in that case you could use a trackball (with one button for mouse clicks) to select the book to read. That's 6 buttons and a trackball in a bartop cab and you got your self an awesome comic station
