ds has a touch screen and its only $129

DS screen isn't even close to the PSP screen in resolution, clarity, size, etc... I believe Elvis was referring to the technology being applied to the PSP screen.

The thing could have gamerelated odor to it and it still wouldn't be worth the price.

i cant believe this is still alive... i just wanted to chime in with an update... a freind of mine at school brought his into show me with Metal gear Acid, the new Grandtheft auto and Twisted metal, he was stupid and of course updated his PSP to play his new game the Easy way..... he had an early version too!...

but worse than that when he handed it to me right away it hit me the weight i was used to on a handheld kinda broadened... but the thing that really bugged me about the design that sat in  my hands were...  "that thing is thick!" its almost like 2 DVD cases stacked... well maybe 1 and 1/2 but still... and im used to my DS, older gameboys and my PDA, and it doesnt seem as portable as any of those considering it took him awhile to pull it out of his jeans...

I played metal gear, which was pretty ingenious if you ask me but the other games didnt much appeal...

well the only way id get a PSP now is if they Make a newer slimmer version, because man that thing can tip the scale compared to other handhelds... literally..

(makes that a future refrence, my first Contact with a PSP)
