Open GL Help
« on: October 19, 2005, 08:35:08 pm »
Hey...  anyone have any idea what would cause Open GL to stop working all of a sudden on my computer.  I can't run Zinc in Open GL mode anymore, and all my sweet Open GL screensaver don't work, either...

Help!   ???

well the obvious first thing to do is reinstall you video drivers, if that doesn't work then let us know.

Did that...  I run a dual boot system so I switched over to linux to check on OpenGL there and it works in Linux.  So it's definately a Windows issue, and not a hardware problem.

My GX card is an Nvidia GeForce FX Go 5200.

Ehm, bit late but, I had a problem with my OpenGL card when I got it about 2 months ago. Turns out it was Service Pack 2 on XP. Switched back to SP1 and no probs since.
Now in a tasty new flavour.

That's not it either.  I've had SP2 on here since it came out, never had any problems with OpenGL until the other day.

Have you installed any M$ updates right before this started happening?

Also you may try to roll back the drivers to an earlier version.
