Video card recommendations from actual use
« on: October 25, 2005, 08:34:08 pm »
I'm ordering the PC parts for my cab.  I've got a TV with component inputs, so I'd like to go the route of video card with a DVI-comp adapter (because NewEgg and others aren't carrying the VGA-comp adapter anymore).

I'd like to go as cheap as possible, but stick with a new card rather than ebay.  If anyone out there is actually using this type of setup and is satisfied with the TV-out from their video card, I'd like to hear about it.  Many of the different models and even brands use the same onboard chips for video out, but in practice the actual TV-out results can vary.

As a bonus, if anyone also got the DVI-comp adapter-->TV AND a guncon2 to work, that would be the video card for me...if it's under $50!
