...all that potential for the guy and they pigeon hole him in the crappy videogame themed action movies.  Those nearly alway suck.

I think most of the movies he gets have potential to really suck. He is one of those guys that is good at playing campy parts and rising above the material to make it fun.

Spy Hunter is pretty slim pickens' even for a video game. The movie is probably going to be a lot like Triple X (xXx, whatever they called it).

I'll echo Chad - this guy has a lot of potential, as anyone who saw "The Rundown" could attest to.  It's hard to see Rock take a step backwards with movies like "Doom."

Did anybody see him in Be Cool (sequel to Get Shorty)? I have to say that until I saw him in that I pretty much thought of him as a no-talent meathead. He cracked me up in that one, it was one of the funniest parts in any movie I saw this year. You guys are right, he does have a lot of potential. I'd love to see him do more comedy instead of all of these two-dimensional action roles. The guy can be really frickin' hilarious.
