Hey has anyone ever gotton a "split screen" effect? I am having trouble getting my acrcade VGA to display on my Sony 25" arcade monitor. I am using s-video and it was fine for a while, and then just recently it booted to like a double screen, one on top of the other. and it is VERY FUZZY to read, and cannot get the AVGA to adjust correctly anymore. When i click on the icon in the tray, i only get like 4 resolutions, and "display settings" and i cannot read really anything at all. I tried to reload the driver from Ultimarc, and got some error message that i could not read, it is really weird. Also when it displayed correctly, it was a bit fuzzy on the words, but everything else looked good. Also when i lauched mamewah, it ran great, but when i exited it, the screen would kind of blink or flash black, and not exit to the operating sys at all, i had to reboot everytime. Anyhelp would be great as i really do not know what to do. I have talked to Andy and we are trying to figure it out, but any input for you guys would help. I can put another video card in and use the TV OUT (s-video) and it works great on my monitor, but like i asked in my other post, i am not sure that i will not damage my monitor using a "normal" video card. I think my monitor is 15khz only, and to my understanding the NTSC signal comming from the s-video out of any card is 15 Khz. If this is correct, i will not need the arcade vga card right?? Please help me out as i am having GALAGA withdrawls!!
Any help would be great. Oh, I cannot "force the driver" as i cannot read the screen enough to even attempt it. Let me know what you all think!
Thanks,
Ken
