Got some problems...

I just set up Mamewah the best I could using the mamewah config_161.1.  Although it's not a total loss, I still don't have it up and running.  There is about two inches of black on both the left and right sides of Mame when I load it up.  The top and bottom fit the TV perfectly though.  Plus it is really blurry.  I can't read my games list because it's blurry.  When I hooked up my control panel, I couldn't go through the list or choose a game to play.  Couldn't do anything.  I'm not sure where to go from here.  I need some help pretty bad guys..
