Dreamcast to jamma. Please help Im going nuts!

Alright I have a super neo 29 candy cab that Im trying to hook my dreamcast to. Here is what I have done. I bought some hacked control pads from someone on the board and they work great. I soldered them to a finger board and have had no problems. I then took and soldered a wires for sync ground, syn & r,g,b, to the finger board I then using crip on connectors connected these wires to a

Any chance of a picture of the screen? purple tint could mean that your not displaying another color such as green, etc..

well you were right about the green. It seems there was a bad connection at the capacitors on my cheap vga box I took the colors straight from the cord before it went to the vga box and everything looks fine, its a dull picture but the colors or correct. Im hoping a new vga box will help with this, I think the picture is dull because its no longer going through the caps.
