It's unbelieveable how true that statement is.  I'd actually be surprised if legislation isn't passed legalizing gun confiscation.

And I wouldn't bet against the "interpretted" Constitutionality of it--given that the Supreme Court recently ruled that "public use" now includes selling YOUR property to a private investor/developer.

It never ceases to amaze me how the jokers on the Court can have such a hard time properly "interpretting" what the drafters of the Bill of Rights spent so much time to put so clearly in plain English.

Then again we had a President who wasn't completely sure "what is is", so...

LOL.  Good ol' eminent domain.  Supposed to be for required freeways, now used for potential business ventures. :-\

So has anyone seen any kind of response to what happened to the old lady?  Seems quiet.  Too quiet for what happened and what's at stake.

1) Look at how clean the streets are in that video.  No flooding.
2) Look at how well stocked she is with food.
3) She told them to leave.
4) She wasn't a threat. (Even if she was, they were trespassing inside of her house).

She was probably better off at home than she is now... wherever that is.  Hopefully filing a lawsuit.

I heard that someone actually filed a motion on one of the justice's properties, wanting to build a hotel there, and drastically increase the tax income on it.
I don't know if that's true or not, but it would definitely be appropriate action.

It is true; Justice Seuter's house.  See if you can find a story about it on the internet.  It's really funny what they wanted to re-name the house (as a bed & breakfast) and all the rooms inside.

This is ridiculous.  Katrina committed a hostile and devastating attack on US soil.  I want to know when we are going to launch a full force counteroffensive on Katrina.  A message needs to be sent that the US will not tolerate hostile acts within our borders.  Where is the outrage?  Where is the retaliation?

I blame Bush for not defending us from, and retaliating against, the menace that is Katrina.
