I just opened up my "My Music" folder for the first time ever (always just selected music out of the media player).

Has windows been downloading album art behind my back or what?

Yep.. if you used WMP to play it, it auto DLs the album art and throws it in the fodler the songs were in..

Hey, I haven't heard a Wham song in a long time...

You can turn that feature off in WMP's Tools > Options > Privacy settings if you want to.

It only seems to do it for some of my music. If the mp3 has an embedded album cover WMP won't bother downloading album art.

BTW,

That Pat Boone album is "In a Metal Mood", where Pat sings heavy metal covers. Hilariously awesome album, and I gained enormous respect for Boone when he did it. Instant classic.

Needless to say, I have the album too.

On a real life scale she's scorching hot. On a music industry/hollywood/TV screen scale, she's old and busted.

If she had aged gracefully and kept with her soul roots, she would be one of the most beautiful people on the planet. The selling out made her ugly.
