unknown monitor in silverline 26 cab
« on: August 08, 2005, 11:40:36 am »
Hi all,

Trying to identify the monitor in this cab so that I can go ahead and set up advance mame using ADVV etc. I cant seem to find any identifying marks on the board/neck/tube except a JVC mark on the focusing/screen component. Here are some pictures of the monitor. Sorry they are not complete top down images but the screen is still in the cab!

Any help greatly appreciated. Rolf

It's definitely some kind of Electrohome monitor, but it's one I've never seen before. The gold metal frame and the width coils give it away. There should be a paper label on the side of the black metal circuit board frame with model numbers on it.

Thanks for the reply Ken,

I had some more looking about but could only find references online for A G19-CCO. I had a look about the chasis and there was indeed a paper number but with a code of G19-AEO, but underneath this was the number G19-CCO...very curious.

I can send some images of the actual chasis if you think it might help identify what it is (I have a spare chasis that I can take a proper picture of.) I would like to get a cap kit but dont want to end up with all the wrong size capacitors.

What are the 'usual' specs for these monitors..? Currently I am having a lot of trouble trying to get a stable display at 240 lines..cant only get it at 241 lines!

Any help as always greatly appreciated.

It certainly looks like a G07-CC0.  Here's a link to pictures from Bob Roberts' Site.

Thanks or the email and the kind words about my site!
