no Wrappers work for me
« on: August 25, 2005, 10:55:44 am »
hey there,

I'm configuring the tidying up of my last few emulators at moment for the cab, and the current problem I have is with Project64.

I did have the hacked v1.5SP1 running, however I noticed that compatability is way better with 1.6 (disneys tarzan doesn't crash every few minutes for example)...however with 1.6 I cannot get it to quit with the escape key (the sp1 hacked version apparently had been modified by unpacking the exe then repacking it with the changes)

Now the wrappers that are available from cpviewers site I've dl'd (for various consoles), but up till now so far I had no need for them.

However now when it comes to trying the wrapper exes, none of them work for me, tried on both machines (both are XP SP2 machines so I'm assuming its an SP2 issue), doesn't matter if its the project64 or any of the other wrappers they always crash on clicking/loading with a windows system error.

Does anyone please know how I can get the wrappers to work? modified versions of the wrappers perhaps?  An alternative option would be to unpack and modify the project64 exe I suppose and make the changes myself - what app would I use to do that tho?

hope you guys can help,

cheers,
Tuck

For my wrappers you will need the latest version of the Micorosft .Net framework installed.
