Super Dodge Ball! (BUGGY?)
unclet:
I am confused now....... not sure how pressing button3 which is only mapped to "r" would simulate pressing button1 and button2 together.
I would assume mapping would be something like this:
P1 button1 = Ctrl
P1 button2 = Alt
P1 button3 = Ctrl AND Alt
Please explain what you meant in your description....
Kobex:
I assume because in the game, there is no button 3. How can you directly map it to have an in-game function?
You have to tell buttons one and two to both fire off the same control in addition to their independent controls. This way, when you hit "r" (button 3), both 1 and 2 will fire.
Edit: Logically speaking, I would think it'd be an OR instead of an AND on those controls, though.
unclet:
Exactly ..... an OR would make much more sense....
BTW: I disliked how a player is suppose to "jump" in Kangaroo so I mapped button2 to be the "UP ARROW" and it works fine. Does this mean Mame allows you to assign extra buttons to games which did not originally have extra buttons (ie: Kangaroo seems like it only ever had one button to "punch", but it let me add a second button to "jump")

I am running Mame V.81 and Super Dodgeball does not load unfortunately.
I really liked playing dodgeball as a kid. How is the game play in this arcade game ... is it entertaining?
