weird shadows, monitor broken?
« on: July 27, 2005, 05:06:03 am »
Hi

I got a 17" monitor, a syncmaster 753dfx samsung, two days ago I realized that characters and dark or black forms over white or light blackgrounds have "shadows", hard to see but they are there, like 10 or 20 pixels to the right.

For example left monitor edge has shadows just on his right, a couple of vertical line, and all the other verticals lines with a white or light backgrounds have another line or lines on his right, u can see the same effect on characters mostly cuz u see the last character of a word repeated.

Hope someone knows something about this... cuz its kinda annoying :/

It's quite possible you might have a bad video ground somewhere.
